Work With Huawei
Dec 2022 – Dec. 2023: Huawei Cloud – New Business Development lead, alongside several global collaboration works in Enterprise Business, Consumer Tech, and Education.
Jan. 2022 – 2023: Huawei Ads Platform – Led Ads PaaS development, building a local team of software engineers, an Ops team, and managers to head publisher and Advertiser business. My major responsibility was to find creative ways to increase monetization opportunities, and create strategic roadmap towards scale.
April 2021 – 2023: Huawei AppGallery – Established new partnerships and supported top APP developer Content Providers in the on-boarding and promotion of top apps and indie app titles on Mobile App Market Store – AppGallery. I also led strategic innovative collaborations with other Huawei/Partner capabilities to improve the overall Huawei & Honor mobile user experience.
Jan 2021- 2022: Wearables [HMOS Watch] – Provided insightful innovation and collaboration for strategic Business Development for the HMOS Watch Programme, as a Global Partnership & Eco-Development Dept. senior representative in the UK. I also supported with training local BDs and knowledge/Insights sharing, recently towards monetized partnerships & Revenue sharing, including strategic global business partnerships and Huawei’s tech ecosystem growth.
2020 – 2023: HMS Capability Kits – I took over leadership of the Smart Office vertical, mid-year, for Business Development related with Smart printing, Smart Board and Projection, including support with in-Car Dash Camera software capability R&D. The core objective was to promote Huawei’s Capability kits on a global scale across a global partner shortlist of over 100+ partners all of which we engaged in mutual business interests in various capacities.
2019: Technology Cooperation – I was contracted to support the Huawei CBG unit with Strategy & Technology Cooperation for Huawei’s European Consumer Business, and to improve overall consumer experience in Mobile, AI, IoT, Wearables and HarmonyOS R&D, in the UK, Ireland and Germany.
Work With IoM Government
Prime Tek is an approved contractor and supplier to the IoM Government. Supported the DoI with R&D and supply of digital Adboards with smart capabilities for traffic detection - Pedestrians, Motorists, and Cyclists. The Prime Tek units were equally interactive digital advertising boards (dual-sided), with wireless internet service capability in town centres, the Douglas promenade and other public areas with the need for footfall data.
In 2019, he founded a startup that designed and built solutions in Artificial Intelligence (AI) for the Department of Transport of the UK’s Isle of Man Government. Charles joined Huawei in 2019 as a technology consultant to help lead and support Consumer and Enterprise Business Growth as a Strategy & Technology Cooperation Manager, helping to improve consumer experience in the Telecommunications – 5G, Mobile Devices, Network Carrier Services, Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), smart Health tools, Wearable technology, through R&D in both Huawei’s London and Cambridge Research Centres, and to support tech partnerships and commercial acquisitions (M&A).
NHS
Prime Tek’s s desktop tools and mobile applications have served several NHS Trusts in improving effective stakeholder engagement across divisions.
These applications proved effective during Trust mergers and during the pandemic.
Prime Tek has also supplied training simulators for various health service divisions.
In 2018, as General Manager at IDG, Charles led the design, development, site installation and commissioning of an immersive science planetarium, with his team of engineers and digital experts.

Prime 5D Project
Prime 5D centre – London, UK
In 2014 Charles established Prime 5D Centre – the first commercial Virtual Reality (VR) centre in London, combining motion simulation with VR content to provide immersive VR experiences and Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). In this time he also led innovation and Engineering as General Manager at IDG UK where he designed and delivered various immersive tech solutions for the US, UK, and several European Government’s Defense, Education, Aviation and Leisure sectors.
For his contribution to the tech space. Charles was nominated by the British Government for an Entrepreneur Award in Innovation, in 2016.
